Question by jimorna: iPhone 3GS “Charging is not supported with this accessory”?
So i recently bought a pre-owned iPhone 3GS and it works 100%, the only problem is the “Charging is not supported with this accessory” error message.

It doesn’t come up when i have cables plugged in, but as soon as i unplug the USB cable it comes up. (non-jailbroken)

what can i do to prevent it?

try restoring it that might actually help prevent the problem

    I actually had the similar question yesterday. in trying to look the solution I ended up getting a new iphone for free from http://www.IPHONESPOT2.TK!! the phone is coming in 6 days and I can’t wait!!
