I just bought an 8gb ipod touch to replace my old 2gb ipod nano. My speakers charge my nano but not my iTouch. I have the Klipsch – iGroove SXT Sound System for Apple® iPod™ and iPhone. The link is here:

It says it charges my ipod model, but when i put the itouch on it said “charging is not supported by this accessory”

You might want to check again. It probably says it’s “compatible.” Many docks, especially if they are a couple years old, only play the iPod Touch and iPhone, but do not charge them.

If you have an iPod Touch 2G or 3G you may have a problem if the device is designed for the first generation iPod Touch. The 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen have slightly different pin settings. http://www.inspiretech.com/p-397-ipod-touch-2nd-gen-travel-charger.aspx These should work though
